About the Item
A stunning large Italian vase, suitable for flowers or umbrella stand, an Italian Ceramic artwork decorated in Relief with a sea landscape , vessels and clouds. The vase has two turquoise floral bands, one upper and one lower with raised and graffitied foliage on a rough ochre background. These two horizontal bands are connected by two vertical bands with the same decoration, thus delineating two tableaux in the two sides of the vase that contain two seascapes with graffitied waves with a two-masted sailing ship. The clouds in the sky are in relief giving a special depth to the decoration. The base and neck are decorated in green. In good condition, under the base the inscription D80 Perugia 52.
The work is shipped from Italy, Italian law requires that any object produced more than 50 years must be exported with a license issued by the ministry called Belle Arti.
