About the Item

A sculptural Italian cut crystal vase designed by Pierangelo Gallotti Luigi Radice in the 1960s. Produced by Fontana Arte, one of Italy’s most esteemed glass manufacturers, its pure geometric form is disrupted by two ingenious curvilinear incisions, creating elegant openings for floral arrangements. Two suspended chrome spheres, connected by fine linear etching, appear to float within the thick crystal walls, adding a sense of movement. The interplay of glass and metal, transparency and reflection, is quintessentially Fontana Arte. Condition: Great vintage condition, with very minor surface marks. The chrome inserts are removable.
