A 1940s Italian terracotta vessel with a dramatic flare at the mouth and a gilt-lined interior. The large-scale, rounded body is cloaked in a moody verdigris glaze. Hand-carved abstracted mountain forms and swirling cloud bands circle the shoulder in a weathered slip, drifting into earthy hues below.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with a few areas where the terracotta shows through the glaze. Unsigned.
