About the Item

Exceptionally rare vase by Jacob E. Bang. Every piece in this series was hand-engraved making them individually unique. Besides the vertical etchings it has a light yellow hue to the glass. Some of these pieces were made in collaboration with Carl Cohr that provided silver lids to the jars in the series. Made at Holmegaard in Denmark during the 1930s. Tapio Wirkkala's Kantarelli Series 10-15 years after resembles this technique. Measurements: H: 10 cm, diameter: 10 cm.
