Exquisite Japanese contemporary decorative porcelain vase, intricately hand painted on a wstunningly shaped ovoid body in green, yellow, purple, orange and pink, a mesmerizing signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed master porcelain artist in Arita polychrome overglazed enameling and the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his extraordinary porcelain work and his unique contributions to this centuries old art. He has perfected this technique to create ceramic with stunning colors and flowers coming alive. This breathtaking masterpiece in the artist's signature style is a refreshing interpretation of traditional polychrome overglazed enameling. He has a very special relationship with nature, creating a very rich and awe-inspiring landscape on porcelain with extraordinary colorful flowers swaying in the wind. His painstaking “drip painting” technique is designed to bring a subtly raised feel to flowers expressed in bold vibrant colors. This artist's profile is available upon request. The vase depicts stunning seasonal flowers on a pure white background, characteristic of Arita porcelain. Elegant bold irises in cream and purple with blue-green foliage on one side, lilies in orange and pink, swaying with the wind, on the other. Many other flowers in purple, yellow and white appear in between, and all around the collar. Delicate geometric patterns on a dark blue band decorates the base and the neck.
