Rare black brown enameled pitcher vase handmade and signed by Jean Marais. In organic form with a Brutalist look. Jean Marais (1913-1998), was a French actor, writer, director and sculptor. He performed in over 100 films and was the muse of acclaimed director Jean Cocteau. His workshop was located in Vallauris, since 1973.
