About the Item
A simply stunning Art Nouveau iridescent flower bud shaped green art glass vase attributed to Kralik and dating from around 1900. The tall elegantly shaped vase is hand blown with a round eight section bulb shaped base tall slender body applied in relief with a spiral twist design and with a pinched flower shaped top. The vase is made in a rich green colored glass with a wonderful oily iridescence giving off an array of colors. The vase has a polished pontil mark to the base and the quality of this piece is comparative to some of the finest quality Loetz pieces we have seen and is certainly one not be missed. The vase is not marked.
Provenance: acquired from The British Art market.
