About the Item

A large antique Japanese Meiji period enamel vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a narrow neck. The vase is enameled with a polychrome image of butterflies made in the Cloisonne technique on cobalt blue ground. Probably numbered on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 10 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Good antique condition. Repairs.
