About the Item
A fine quality Japanese vase from the time of Emperor Meiji, 1868 to 1912. Of a baluster form with slightly lobed shoulders, the body is adorned with a finely detailed shaded cloisonne enamel image of a dragon on a glossy cobalt blue ground. The base and the upper rim are also adorned with cloisonne enamel patterns. Bears an impressed mark on the bottom. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
Dimensions: 12 x 4 in. All measurements are approximate.
