About the Item

Place this charming antique-inspired French cornucopia vase on a console, bookshelf, or entryway commode. Crafted in France circa 1980, the sculptural piece is shaped as a classic Horn of Plenty and stands on a rectangular ceramic plinth decorated with hand-painted Delft-style blue-and-white floral motifs. The flared ceramic horn is richly painted with scrolling blossoms and foliage, while the lower section transitions into an elegant cast-bronze mount formed as a stylized, curled creature, part handle, part support, resting on a coordinating base. The contrast between the softly glazed porcelain and the warm patinated bronze creates a refined decorative presence suitable for traditional or eclectic interiors. Rooted in classical symbolism, the cornucopia has long represented abundance, harvest, and prosperity, making this piece both decorative and meaningful. The vase is in excellent condition with crisp painting and a well-preserved bronze finish. Dimensions: 11" W x 4" D x 12.5" H.
