Set of two splendid Pulegoso vase. One round and the other tall. The round is lighter and the tall darker tone of mustard. Perfectly executed Pulegoso finish. This is Murano Crucible Pulegoso. Splendid murano mosaic vase with a perfect color combination and complex mosaic technique. The stellato finish is made by rolling canes of various color over a small blob of incandescent glass. The design is attained by using the glass scissors at the end and making flat discs with a star design. All these are then heated on a flat surface, in the old time was a stone so this technique still carries that name, lavorazione a piera.
