About the Item
An exceptional quality Art Nouveau miniature iridescent glass vase, possibly Loetz and dating from the early 20th century. This heavily made amethyst glass vase is exquisitely decorated with golden iridescent trailed peacock feather patterning in gold, purple and blue tones. The hand-blown vase stands on a thick rounded pedestal foot with a squat rounded body and flat rimmed rounded opening. The vase has a partially polished pontil mark to the base and is not marked.
In good condition with wear to the base commensurate with age.
