A stoneware round vase, bisque surface, interior glazed and with a strong blue abstract intaglio glazed decoration, typical of Grotell's Cranbrook Academy of Art style, where she worked and headed the ceramics department from 1938-1966.
Signed with a cursive lower case 'm' incised on the bottom.
