About the Item
Bold, joyful and unapologetically artistic — this Memphis-style ceramic vase by Florio Keramia captures everything we love about postmodern Italian design. The striking glossy pink surface and sculptural silhouette instantly command attention, turning this piece into a miniature architectural statement within any room.
Created by Luciano Florio Paccagnella, graphic designer and artist of the Milan-based Memphis movement, the “Lola” vase reflects his creative universe:
vibrant Bauhaus-inspired colors, playful geometry, and a touch of rebellion against conventional design. Each piece was hand-crafted and hand-painted, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ceramic object — as expressive as a sculpture, yet perfectly functional as a vase.
Whether placed on a shelf, a mantel, or a console table, “Lola” doesn’t just decorate the space: she brings energy, color and personality. A must-have for collectors of vintage Italian ceramics and anyone curating a spirited, art-driven interior.
Artist Background
Luciano Florio Paccagnella studied graphic arts in Milan (Brera Academy), and by the mid-1970s he was already working for leading creative agencies — collaborating on iconic Fiorucci graphics. Soon after, Matteo Thun introduced him to Ettore Sottsass, paving the way to friendships and partnerships with legendary designers such as Marco Zanini and Aldo Cibic.
His works — including his totem-like ceramic vases — channel the spirit of Memphis: freedom, humor, experimentation and pure joy.
