Exquisite curated set of seven sculptural ceramic vases from Bertoncello Ceramiche D'Arte, Italy.
Designed and produced during the 1960s and 1970s, these rare collectible pieces highlight the celebrated artistry of Giovanni Bertoncello, in collaboration with avant-garde designer Roberto Rigon.
Each vase exhibits organic, architectural forms, featuring dynamic curves, cutouts, and bold silhouettes. Recognized for their distinctiveness, these ceramics were crafted in refined clay and finished with Bertoncello’s signature “Tobacco” glaze", a rich, earthy brown enamel that brings depth and warmth to each piece.
This iconic ensemble offers an authentic mid-century Italian modern design with museum-worthy abstract sculptural forms in Original glazing technique, distinctive of Bertoncello’s style.
Provenance: Italy, 1965–1970
All pieces are in very good vintage condition showing minor signs of age consistent with gentle use.
