Mid-Century Italian Neoclassical Yellow Frosted Pressed Glass Vase, 1950s
A very beautiful Italian pressed glass vase from the 1950s.
It features a pale yellow stained interior and a frosted, acid-etched white surface that gives it a soft, velvety feel. The shape is inspired by ancient Roman and Greek vases, giving it a clear Neoclassical character.
The vase is marked “Italy” on both the neck and base. Handmade using a pressed glass technique, it shows fine craftsmanship typical of Italian mid-century design.
It is large and heavy, with a great presence and feel in the hand.
Very good vintage condition.
