Beautiful pottery jug/handled vase, Italy late 1950s-1960s. Signed. A stunning form and décor, body shaped as a jug, glossy white spray-glaze has a mottled texture, decorated using the sgraffito technique with motifs of Greek horse and leafage, over a glossy orange glaze background. A great addition to any collection of Italian, European or midcentury pottery, and would complement any retro, vintage, 1950s, 1960s, midcentury, modernist, minimal or contemporary interior.
