Stunning red blown glass "Scavo" vase attributed to Seguso Vetri d'Arte. This one-of-a-kind piece was designed in Murano, Italy, during the 1950s.
In fabulous condition, with no chips or cracks. Its sinuous shape and the extraordinary craftsmanship of the "Scavo" technique were used to replicate the appearance of ancient Roman archaeological glass. The large and unusual dimensions, together with the vibrant color, make this vase truly unique.
A wonderful and versatile decorative piece to enhance a mid-century modern, neoclassical, or contemporary interior.
