About the Item
Beautiful and unusual, vintage Murano hand blown red, silver, and very large millefiori flower murrines Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is attributed to the A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) company. The vase has a squared shape at the top with pinched rim towards the inside. It has rounded corners and tapers down to a smaller base. The body of the flower vase is a very deep ruby red color. The next thin layer is filled with heavy glittering silver leaf, covering the entire vase. The top layer has a multitude of very large cut flower murrines, each with a unique design and color. Some of them look like shooting stars. They have light and dark pink, yellow, dark and light blue, teal green, and white colors. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 8 1/4” tall x 5 1/4” wide.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. For accuracy, the vase has scratches around the surface. Very hard to see when displayed, but if you look close enough you will see them. You can see some on the close up photos I have posted.
