About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown controlled bubbles with gold flecks Italian art glass flower pot vase. The white color on the vase is created by the thousands of tiny frothy bubbles that make up the body of the piece. Made in the ”Pulegoso" technique, used by many of the Murano glass workshops, like Seguso Vetri d’Arte and designer Alfredo Barbini among them. It has the shape of a flower pot, and would be perfect for orchids. The rim has a scallop pattern. The outside has a layer of gold leaf, which gather inside the bubbles making them stand out (see close up photos). You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 7" across the top x 5 1/8" tall.
