About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown swirling white and aventurine flecks Italian art glass footed flower vase. Atrtibuted to Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.Ve.M.) company, and in the style of designer Dino Martens. The vase is created in the “Mezza Filigrana” technique, with 5 rows of white and 1 row of copper aventurine flecks ribbons alternating pattern. You can feel each ribbon on the outside when you touch it. The vase has a body in a cone shape with slight flared rim, and large applied foot. The clear glass foot is covered in gold leaf throughout. It also has an original small yellow "Made In Italy" label attached underneath. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, credenza or coffee table. Mid-century era. The vase is a large size, measuring 11 3/4” tall x 7” wide across the top.
