About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown swirling white and aventurine flecks Italian art glass ruffled rim, footed flower vase. The piece is attributed to the Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.Ve.M.) company, and in the style of designer Dino Martens. The vase is created in the “Mezza Filigrana” technique, with rows of white and copper aventurine flecks ribbons in an alternating pattern. You can feel each ribbon on the outside when you touch it. The vase has a very elegant shape to the body, with flared out rim, and large applied foot. The clear glass foot is covered in gold leaf throughout (see photos on the black background). Would make a great display piece on any dresser, credenza or coffee table. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. The vase is a large size, measuring 10 3/4” tall x 4 3/4” wide across the top.
