About the Item
Beautiful and rare, antique Murano hand blown white swirl and gold flecks Italian art glass applied flowers vase. Created in the manner of the Barovier e Toso company, and other early glass workshops. The vase has a very large flared out rim, in a fan shape. There are 2 applied gold flowers attached to the sides of the vase, with leafs as well. It has a white optic swirl decoration throughout the inside of the vase. The vase is profusely covered in gold leaf on the outside surface. The previous owner put little plastic dots on the bottom to keep it from being scratched. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. Fill it with fresh cut flowers or just showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measures 8" long across the rim x 6 3/8" wide x 7" tall.
