About the Item

A pair of antique Art Nouveau vases made of blue and green glazed majolica earthenware, better known as Flemish earthenware, marked "Made in Belgium" on the bottom, circa 1900. These glazed vases date from the "Aesthetic Movement," circa 1890. They feature a green and blue drip glaze and floral decoration all around. What makes these vases unique is the square neck that gradually transitions to a round shape. These objects are in very good antique condition, with no cracks or large chips. There is a small flaw in the glaze (a dull spot) and a tiny chip at the bottom of the rim of one of the vases. A larger flaw in the glaze has been touched up at some point, but it is very difficult to see once the vase is upright. Check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 12cm diameter, 31cm high. Weight: 2.988kg combined. Please contact us regarding a personalized shipping quote or if shipping costs for your country aren't listed among the shipping options, shipping possible worldwide!
