Pair of delightful salt-glazed vases by Galileo Chini. The designs consist of scarabs, hearts, scrolls, dots and lines. Galileo Chini (Firenze, 1873-1956) wa one of the most important european artists of the art nouveau period. A prominent member of the Italian Liberty Style, Chini taught at the Academia di Belle Arti in Florence. SIgned : Mugello 2011, Fornaci di San Lorenzo.
