About the Item

Decorate a mantel or a console with this elegant pair of antique vases. Crafted in Italy circa 1980, each decorative porcelain cache pot is round in shape and supported by a wooden stand. Each vase features two distinct crests on either side. The first side features an intricate family crest, displaying a shield with a central star motif, flanked by ornate scroll-work and topped by a star and a crown, possibly representing a noble or aristocratic lineage. The banner beneath the shield contains Latin text, adding to the heraldic significance. The bowl’s rim is decorated with a border of golden stars set against a dark background. The reverse side showcases an elegant monogram topped by a crown, likely representing a royal or noble insignia, emphasizing the item's connection to a specific family or house. The planters are in excellent condition and finely crafted, with smooth glazing and hand-painted details, including some gilt accents around the rim. 8.25" Diameter 9.5"H
