About the Item
Thiese Murano glass vases are very impressive and their color is so lively. Their color is very unusual as it is sweet light pink. these Venetian vases are all hand decorated with the technique of rostrato: spikes of glass have been individually pulled in relief to reach this spectacular 3 D effect .This technique is typically Venetian and requires very skilled artisans. Indeed, craftsmen must be very quick in order to pull out all the spikes while temperature is hot enough. Their textured and sculptural finish play with lights and reflects. Their thick walled casing glass produce a lot of iridescent reflects. Moreover, photos don't do them justice as they are far more beautiful in real than on photos. Their shape and their wonderful color will make a conversation piece in all beautiful interiors and they would match with contemporary, modern, mid century or art deco interiors. They are real pieces of art.
Please note that as they were entirely done by hand, these vases don't have exactly the same shape.There is a very light difference in shape.
