Beautiful Pair of West German Bay Keramiek Art Pottery Vases, Post-Modern / Art Deco Revival, 1980s
A very beautiful pair of West German art pottery vases by the renowned ceramic maker Bay Keramiek, each featuring a clean, minimalistic post-modern silhouette. Though differing in form, both vases showcase the same exquisite pastel glazing in an Art Deco–inspired pattern, reflecting the strong revival of Deco aesthetics during the 1980s.
The matte glaze displays a composition of softly overlapped spherical forms in pastel sky-blue and cloudy grey, set against a chalky, off-white creamy background.
Both vases retain their original Bay Keramiek labels and are stamped West Germany on the base along with the corresponding style codes.
Condition: Pristine.
Dimensions:
