A superb pair of West German pottery lava vases, both of unique character and offer a vibrant yet earthy colourway.

Breiden 479/22 (H21.5cm x W11cm) (8.5" x 4.25")
1 x West German Scheurich pottery vase 208-21 (22cm x W11cm) (8.75" x 4.25")
Crafted during the 1960s up to the 1980s, west German pottery showcases the distinctive lava technique, characterised by its textured, volcanic-like glaze that creates an eye-catching and tactile surface. Both vases in excellent original condition, both carrying maker mark and model numbers.
Both Dumler
Breiden and Scheurich are well known names in West German pottery, these examples reflecting that great craftsmanship and artistry.
