Elegant Paris opaline mantel vase, made in France circa 1880–1890. Charming transfer-printed decoration, hand-enhanced with fine details, depicting two children harvesting wheat in a pastoral landscape. Refined gilded accents framing the scene. White opaline glass with soft peach-pink shading to the neck and base, typical of high-quality French opaline of the period. This type of decorative vase was sold in the prestigious boutiques of the Palais-Royal in Paris, renowned in the 19th century for luxury goods and refined objects of art. A beautiful romantic piece with warm tones and strong decorative appeal. Dimensions: • Height: 30.5 cm (12 in) • Diameter (widest point): 13 cm (5.1 in) Condition: Very good antique condition.
