Organic, sculptural art-glass vase/sculpture in clear glass with layered turquoise and deep blue-violet tones.
Mouth-blown with the characteristic upward sweeping “flame” form from the Coquille series.
Retains original Flygfors label. Signed.
Origin: Sweden.
Designer: Paul Kedelv.
Material: Mouth-blown glass.
Dimensions: H. 22 cm, D. 12 cm.
Period: 1958.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) was a defining figure in Swedish 1950s glass design through his work at Flygfors. The Coquille series became his signature creation, celebrated for its organic silhouettes, colour layering and sculptural elegance, making it a coveted classic among collectors worldwide.
