About the Item

Petite Art Nouveau Art Glass Vase, early 20th Century, Probably Bohemian Glass. The shaped amber glass has an undulating form and flaring lip, the glass has burgundy swirls throughout and feather pulling. It is of petite form, about 5 inches high, and would make a charming bud vase. This vase was acquired with a small collection of other Bohemian glass vases from the late 19th and early 20th century, each beautifully decorated in an Art Nouveau style. It is presumably Bohemian. Fine Glass was made during the Art Nouveau period by notable manufacturers in and around Bohemia, including the Loetz Glass Company, and J. L. Lobmeyr in Austria-Bohemia. The charming Art Glass vase will add a touch of character and Art Nouveau period style to a room. It would make a beautiful accent piece on a shelf, table, or as an accompaniment to other objet in an interior design.
