Pier Alessandro Giusti and Egidio Di Rosa for Up&UP Italy sculptural travertine vase circa 1980. This vase is highly scored or incised from bottom to top in a circular motif making it very highly skilled technically.
The travertine is a very warm unfilled travertine showing many of the natural inclusions in the stone.
This is as much sculpture as is a vase.
