Mid-Century Scheurich West German Art Pottery Vase with Rare Multicolor Glaze, 1950s
A refined Mid-Century West German Art Pottery vase by the renowned maker Scheurich, featuring a chic, African tribal–inspired design—a popular aesthetic during the 1950s. The piece showcases a rare and sophisticated glaze composed of several bands of satin black, contrasted with glossy bands in deep burgundy, dark green, and navy blue, giving the vase an exceptionally elegant presence.
The base is marked “W. Germany 750-25”, indicating model 750 (the style) and 25 (the height in centimeters).
