Red, white and blue, a glass sculpture by Pietro and Riccardo Ferro made on the island of Murano in 2020. Starting out early in their family business "La Moleria" with their father Paolo, the brothers Pietro and Riccardo have had their hands on lot of artistic glass on the island of Murano. Doing the coldwork for companies like Venini, for artists like Lino Tagliapietra, or Philip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg and many more, whenever those didn't have the capacities, made them super skilled cold working masters and paved the way for their own artwork. Red, white and blue is a large unique sculpture from their own studio, the overlays and the red base glass skillfully cut in a way, that makes the light play with opacity and transparency of the three glass layers.
