About the Item
Antique Rookwood bud vase by Elizabeth Barrett. It features Art Deco styling with wide opening, high handles and blue glaze. Circa 1924 XXIV. Shape 2557. Marked with Elizabeth Barrett's mark of a cross in an oblong rectangle.
Elizabeth Barrett was born in Kentucky. She worked at Rookwood Pottery for many years, from 1924 until 1946, but only part-time between 1931 and 1943. In 1931 she married another Rookwood artist, Jens Jensen.
