About the Item

Elegant stoneware pitcher with a rich brown glaze, designed by Danish ceramist Erik Rahr (1908–1982) for Saxbo. A fine example of modernist Danish ceramic design, marked on the base with both the Saxbo hallmark and the initials E.R. Produced during the period 1921–1949. Excellent vintage condition.
