Sculptural Art Deco Silver-Plated Pitcher, 1930s, Carl M. Cohr, Denmark
This sculptural Art Deco silver-plated pitcher dates from the 1930s by Danish silversmith Carl M. Cohr. This handcrafted pitcher features a woven detail on the handle and elegantly curved, flowing forms, showcasing small, refined Art Deco details. Beautifully patinated, it has intentionally not been polished, making it ideal as a decorative object or as a vase.

The pitcher is stamped under the base with the maker’s mark and ALP. DANMARK ATLA, which indicates “Alpaca (nickel silver) made in Denmark by Carl M. Cohr”.

About Carl M. Cohr
Carl M. Cohr (1881–1950) was a prominent Danish silversmith known for his Art Deco silver and silver-plated designs. His pieces are highly regarded for their elegance, quality craftsmanship, and distinctive Danish design sensibility
