About the Item
Complete set of four ceramic vases in the shape of pineapples, dating from the 1960s. Each piece is modelled in relief to suggest overlapping scales and finished in a glossy brown and yellow glaze that accentuates the texture. The group is composed of two larger and two smaller vases, creating a graduated sequence of heights when displayed together.
The vases are open at the top and can be used with small floral arrangements or as sculptural decorative objects. The consistent glaze and modelling indicate they were produced as a unified set, which is now uncommon to find complete. All vases are signed on the base.
This quartet works well on a dining table, console, or shelf, either grouped or distributed across a room. Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
