About the Item
Extraordinary pair of vases, in the Secession style, originals from the Art Nouveau period, made around 1910 by the famous Villeroy and Boch factory, Dresden, Germany.
The vases each have a hexagonal base, the body is slightly cambered upwards and ends in a hexagonal opening.
The entire body of the vase is in shimmering black glaze. Secessionist designs are painted on it. Floral tendrils, very strictly executed in a special shade of green and gold. An impressive color combination with the shimmering black and gold.
