About the Item
A signed antique Royal Vienna style porcelain vase.
Entitled: "Geheimnis" (the German word for "Secret").
It has a hand painted central cartouche depicting a young maiden at a fence attended by a cherub whispering a secret in her ear.
Signed by the artist in the lower right.
It is richly decorated with two tone gilt decoration, raised gold jeweling, and white enamel jeweling throughout.
Simply a wonderful vase!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition details:
The neck leans slightly towards the back. (Apparently fired this way in the kiln.) There is some minor rubbing to the gold, some loss of spots of jeweling here and there, some very fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
