About the Item
Spectacular vase, Vienna Secession by Julius Dressler, made between 1900 and 1905 in Austria.
This vase is an outstanding piece of history—made during the exciting era of the Secession's Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art). Its design is captivating: a square cube with four openings serves as a space for small flowers, while the upward-facing cylinder offers space for larger ones.
The entire vase has a very modernist form, and the surface is graphically designed in cube patterns.
The underside of the vase is marked "Austria," along with a master's mark and other numbers.
Dimensions approx. height 15,75 in - 40 cm, width 5,71 in - 14,5 cm, depth 5,71 in - 14,5 cm.
Enjoy this extraordinary piece of art; it is a showcase object that can be freely displayed in any room.
