About the Item
Stoneware vase from the 1960s by André Rozay made in the pottery village of La Borne in the Cher department in Central France.
André Rozay, painter and ceramic sculptor, "potter and animal artist", is considered one of the first modern ceramists to have settled in La Borne in the 1940s.
Today, thanks to the pottery tradition and the generations that have succeeded one another from 1941 to the present day, the creative ceramic production of La Borne has a special place in the contemporary landscape of French and international ceramics. And remains a place for collectors.
