About the Item
very impressive set of two vases, made around 1900, in Japanese design and decoration, from France.
These two vases are impressive at first glance, but become increasingly interesting upon closer inspection. Many details are so delicate.
The vases have a bulbous shape and a slender stem. The vases feature decorative handles on the sides, which are actually butterfly-shaped. The vases are painted all around with a chrysanthemum motif and covered with small butterflies in gold.
The vases can be viewed from both sides, as they are each designed differently.
Each measures approximately: height 14,96 in - 38 cm, diameter 8,66 in - 22 cm.
An exceptionally attractive and complete set of Japanese-style vases, made in Europe, that will enhance your interior.
