Striking ceramic vase by the renowned Accolay pottery collective, active in France during the mid-20th century. This cylindrical form is distinguished by its bold, tactile design: a richly textured surface featuring horizontal striations in earthy tones, interrupted by a striking band of pierced circular motifs encircling the midsection. It belongs to the famous serie "Gauloise".
The contrast between the matte, almost volcanic texture and the rhythmic, sculptural punctures gives this piece a strong architectural presence. The narrow neck and slightly flared lip complete the balanced silhouette.
