This pair of porcelain vases were custom order and uniquely studio painted as described on the base: "Decorated specially for Mrs. AA Carroll by Dizewiecki of the Pickard Studios, Ravenswood Chicago 1912". The rare hexagonal shape is decorated in a Japonsque motif in vibrant polychrome enamels all highlighted in gold.
