About the Item

Unique Brown Ceramic Vase by Maria Loram Dimensions: W 20.3 x D 20.3 x H 21.6 cm Materials: Stoneware with a glazed finish. Colors: Brown. Custom dimensions and glaze finishes are available upon request. This handcrafted ceramic vase has a round shape and a dark-brown surface characterized by an irregular, rough texture. The exterior features pits, crevices, and small holes that create a tactile, volcanic rock-inspired look. With a minimalist design, this piece emphasizes the raw beauty of the ceramic material. It serves as a striking decorative object, perfect for adding a subtle natural element to modern or industrial spaces. Each vessel is made entirely by hand, combining wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques to shape and refine the form. The glazes and surface textures are the result of years of experimentation and development in the studio — a slow, meticulous process that often takes months to achieve the depth, variation, and raw elegance seen on each piece. These surfaces are truly one-of-a-kind, reflecting both technical precision and an organic, time-intensive creative exploration. Los Angeles–based ceramic artist Maria Loram presents sculptural works that bridge the microscopic and the cosmic. Shaped by research, intuition, and the unpredictability of clay, her textured forms explore transformation, impermanence, and wonder. Maria Loram approaches clay through a blend of research, experimentation, and intuitive form-building. Her sculptures are characterized by minimalist silhouettes paired with densely organic textures inspired by both natural structures and celestial landscapes. Maria’s pieces invite viewers to step outside the familiar scale of their own lives and into a broader sense of wonder.

Brown Dark Vase by Eguzkiñe Egaña
Located in Geneve, CH
Brown Dark Vase by Eguzkiñe Egaña Unique Piece. Dimensions: W 14 x D 14 x H 20 cm. Materials: Terracotta, slip and enamel. Eguzkiñe Egaña Corta studied advertising and for more than 20 years has worked as a graphic designer. About 12 years ago, surrounded by a completely digital world, she felt the need to create with her hands and it is from there that she took up her drawings and illustrations and began to create with ceramics. She has completed a Master’s degree at the University of the Basque Country: “Ceramics; art and function” and combines her work as a designer and illustrator with contemporary artistic creation. She also teaches ceramics classes at the municipal school of Zarautz, a city in the Basque Country where she lives. She feels the need to explore the relationship between identity and self-knowledge. Work with the concepts; interior, exterior, return, connect, ancestral and artisanal, establishing a relationship between us and our environment, as well as between us and our ancestors, either emotionally, empathetically or through objects that somehow transport us to a hypothetical place in the past, both for its aesthetics and for the ways in which they have been created. Human beings are containers of desires, fears, expectations. Sometimes it is necessary to empty ourselves of everything that clutters the mind. On many occasions the artist works with turned containers...
