About the Item

A Danish Vintage stoneware vase by the Danish ceramist Valdemar Petersen. Manufactured by Bing Grøndahl/B&G in Copenhagen, Denmark during the 1960s. This particular design 7223 incorporates both the square and the circular shape. It is executed in vibrant brown and earthy glazes over vertical lines. His color scheme was hugely inspired by his predecessors - Axel Salto and Bode Willumsen in particular. It is stamped with the B&G makers mark and bears the artist initials hand-signed on the bottom. Measurements: H: 11.5 cm, Diameter (W/D): 8 cm.
