DESCRIPTION
A blue / grey vase designed by Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist for Arabia, made in Finland. The vase measures approximately 5 3/8 inches in diameter and is 4 7/8 inches tall. The vase is marked on the bottom.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist (1928–2005) was one of Finland's leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. She was part of the Nordic tradition aiming for warm-hearted and joyous design. After her art studies at the Institute of Industrial Art in Helsinki, Gunvor worked for the Arabia factory for more than 40 years.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The vase is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is glaze crazing on the inside and outside of the vase and on the inside bottom there are some factory glaze defects.
