About the Item
Made entirely by hand from red stoneware with fine-grained chamotte, this vase has a slightly rough appearance that enhances its materiality and handcrafted character. Construction is done using the columbine technique, in which each layer of clay is carefully overlaid and shaped, shaping a unique and inimitable object.
Relief details and scratch carvings, applied later, add depth and dynamism to the surface, creating a dialogue between hand gesture and decorative rhythm. High-temperature firing gives stoneware exceptional firmness, superior mechanical strength and durability. The partially vitrified surface becomes smooth and resistant to scratches, stains and chemicals, while retaining the natural expressiveness of the material.
The enamel finish, with refined color effects in shades of gray, blue, and rust, enhances the shapes and details, giving the vase a balance of material strength and aesthetic elegance. The result is an exquisite piece designed to dialogue with the surrounding space and to be admired as a decorative object
